Who reviews Plan B Atlas
Trust on a site about your taxes and visa has to be earned honestly. Here's exactly who stands behind what you read — and what we'll never do to look more credible.
The Plan B Atlas Editorial Team
Our country and city pages are researched, fact-checked against the cited primary sources, and edited by the Plan B Atlas editorial team before publication. When you see “Verified against official sources · Plan B Atlas Editorial Team” on a page, that is the honest attribution: a team verified it against official sources, and no single named expert reviewed it.
Named, credentialed reviewers
Some topics — US-expat taxation, immigration law — warrant review by a licensed professional. When a real, credentialed person reviews a page, we name them, state their credentials, and link to verify them. That byline means a specific human with relevant qualifications checked the page.
We're onboarding named cross-border tax and immigration reviewers. Until a real reviewer is in place for a given page, it carries the honest Editorial Team badge above — never a stand-in name.
What we will never do
The site this one replaces was penalized in part for inventing author personas. We don't do that. Plan B Atlas will never:
- Invent a reviewer's name, photo, or biography.
- Claim a credential a real person doesn't hold.
- Attribute a page to a person who didn't actually review it.
Not a substitute for professional advice
Review and verification make our information accurate and current — but our tax and visa pages remain general information for US citizens, not legal or tax advice. For decisions about your situation, consult a licensed cross-border tax or immigration professional. See our editorial standards and how we source data.
